Longevity Namibia is the country's first longevity-focused preventative health service. It is not a clinic: it vets and coordinates a network of eleven practitioner disciplines around each member's plan, so the handoffs between specialists stop being the patient's problem. That is a hard proposition to sell in a paragraph, so we built the argument into the site itself. We designed and built the entire brand platform — a desert-toned editorial system on Newsreader and Archivo, six long-form discipline pages, a four-rung membership ladder with a row-by-row comparison matrix, a journal written for a Namibian reader, and a Turnstile-protected inquiry flow. Every route is statically prerendered on Next.js and served from Netlify's edge, behind a strict content security policy that admits no third-party script at all.

The challenge
Explain a category that does not yet exist locally — preventative health span care — to an audience whose reference point is an annual check-up.
Make the health span vs lifespan distinction land in seconds, since the entire proposition rests on it.
Present four membership tiers honestly, so a free member feels welcome rather than upsold, and a Concierge member can see exactly what the money buys.
Give six clinical disciplines the depth to rank in search without turning the site into a brochure of identical service pages.
Look like a premium health brand in a market saturated with template clinic sites — and load fast on Namibian connections while doing it.
Handle health-adjacent inquiry data responsibly, with real bot defence and no third-party tracking riding along.

What we built
A desert-toned identity system — cream, night-green and ochre — built as hand-authored CSS rather than a utility framework, so the type does what the brand needs instead of what a component library allows. Newsreader and Archivo loaded via next/font and self-hosted, scroll-driven concentric ring motifs, alternating light/dark bands, and full-bleed Namibian photography with proper Creative Commons attribution rendered inline.
A two-column distinction block — 'already written' against 'still yours to decide' — that carries the whole positioning above the fold of the second screen, followed by an approach section that turns the abstraction into what the practice actually does about it.
Dedicated routes for the longevity assessment, nutrition & metabolic health, movement & strength, sleep & recovery, mind & mental resilience and care coordination. Each runs a full argument — the situation, a numbered start-to-finish walkthrough, what you leave with, which network disciplines are involved, an FAQ, and cross-links to the services usually done alongside it.
Root, Growth, Bloom and Concierge presented first as a ladder with a 'best for' line each, then as a semantic, captioned comparison table covering information, community, network access, assessment and coordination — every inclusion marked per tier so nothing has to be inferred.
The eleven coordinated disciplines — longevity physicians, biokineticists and physiotherapists, dietitians, dentists, skin care therapists, nurses, clinical psychologists, sleep specialists, strength coaches, cardiometabolic labs and executive health coordinators — structured as a browsable network rather than a staff list, which is what the 'a network, not a clinic' promise required.
An editorial journal with per-article routes, category and read-time metadata, and a featured-plus-grid listing — positioned explicitly against northern-hemisphere longevity writing, for readers dealing with this climate, these distances and this health system.
Schema.org MedicalBusiness JSON-LD with postal address, telephone and email; a 16-URL XML sitemap and robots policy disallowing only /api; per-page metadata with a generated 1200×630 OpenGraph image over Dune 45 and an en_NA locale. The contact form routes through a POST-only API route with an interest selector that deep-links from every service and membership CTA.
A strict content security policy — default-src 'self', frame-ancestors 'none', object-src 'none', upgrade-insecure-requests — that allowlists Cloudflare Turnstile and nothing else, so the site loads zero third-party trackers. HSTS with preload, X-Frame-Options DENY, nosniff, a strict-origin referrer policy and a permissions policy closing camera, microphone, geolocation and payment. Every route statically prerendered with a five-minute revalidation window on Netlify's durable edge cache.
